Gardening’s finest spectacle The Chelsea Flower Show is marking it’s 100th anniversary this year. The horticultural show, synonymous with pensioners, is the most famous flower show in the UK attracting visitors from all corners of the globe. The show, visited by over 150,000 people, highlights the trends in the horticultural show much like a catwalk show does for fashion. Often new plants are revealed and older varieties revived.
The first two days of the show are exclusively for members of the Royal Horticultural although, if you are not already member, signing up is worth it simply to gain priority access to see the displays at their freshest.
Booking is the only way to gain admission to the show as no tickets are sold on the door. Although fear not if your timetables clashes as the BBC cover the show extensively
